Being an Alaska-based dealer matters twice over. Machines come up in bulk by barge instead of shipped individually from outside the state, so freight runs a fraction of retail parcel rates, and if it ever needs service, you're not shipping it back to the Lower 48 to get it. We work with quilters throughout Alaska, in person where we can and by phone everywhere else.
Tanya is the Authorized Grace Company dealer for all of Alaska, from Barrow to Ketchikan, Dutch Harbor to Tok, and everywhere in between. Extra time may be required for areas off the road system between Talkeetna, Wasilla, Palmer, and Anchorage.
Alaska Distances Don't Work Like the Lower 48
A dealer in Seattle can drive a truck to a customer three states away without thinking twice. That's not how Alaska works. Road connections between communities are limited, several regions depend on barge or air freight, and "next-day" isn't a real option for most of the state.
Being based here changes the math. A dealer already in Alaska is already inside that logistics reality, instead of trying to solve it one shipment at a time from somewhere else.
